Question
The position of a particle is given by x = bt – f t^3 where b and f are positive constants. x is in meters, t is in seconds. What are the units of b and f?
There are follow up questions but I think I could do them if I could figure out this first part?

All the three terms should have the same dimension. If x is the length then bt should be length. This gives the dimension of b to be x/t=velocity.
Similarly x = f t^3
This gives f= x/t^3= Length/time^3. I do not have the name to it but it is dimension of f.
