If matter consists of inanimate objects how is it that these inanimate objects are responsible for becoming alive?

Update: people get mad when they get sick or die, but how can matter be responsible? Is there a force/power causing matter to become alive?

“Life” isn’t a magic substance that has to be poofed into something by a god. When organic structures reach a certain level of complexity they fit the biological definition of life.
